He can’t take a hit, and it takes him a few Combos to really get going. No card draw speed also really hurts a unit like this, who relies on using cards as much/quickly as possible whether it’s via stacking his Unique or eliminating an opposing unit after landing his Extra Move. His Extra Move can borderline eliminate a lot of opposing units, but one mistake here can be disastrous for him. His Extra Move is too much of a double edged sword, and while it's similar to SP Super Gogeta RED's Extra Move, Super Gogeta can at least afford to take Damage.Īt 6 stars, his damage improves significantly and his Cover nullification has a much larger impact on the outcome of the game. He's a solid Offensive powerhouse with some decent durability.While he's still a force without SP SSJ Bardock BLU, the difference without him is palpable.Super Gogeta has almost everything a unit would want Offensively. When he comes in, he restores Ki, has a 50% Damage buff, and maybe most importantly: increases his Arts Card draw speed. He does have a bit of “scaling” up to do in the sense that he needs to use Strike or Blast arts cards to get some additional Damage inflicted Buffs, but even before then, he’s still phenomenal off the bat. His Extra Move was among one of the most difficult to use with little incentive to actually use it. After his Zenkai, if he’s able to land his Extra Move he gets a huge Damage inflicted Buff, clears Enemy Attribute Upgrades, and is now finally able to combo off of it. He and SP SSJ Bardock BLU do form an excellent duo, but it's become very apparent at this point that Super Gogeta needs Bardock more than Bardock needs him. The Super Saiyan crit-based team has gone away from its traditional set-up and now either has a Blue-Blue-Purple or Hybrid-centric setup. SP Goku Black GRN can transform into Super Saiyan Rose, amplifying his Damage and bolstering his stats altogether, making him very hard to deal with on both sides of the field.It's hard to convey how good this unit is, really.
